Teaching Philosophy

My aim as a piano teacher is for students of all ages to learn to love music in a safe and comfortable environment. I want music lessons to be enjoyable for students while teaching lifelong skills like hard work, self-discipline, and expression. Lessons build foundations in musical skills, such as musicality and good practice habits.

I believe that each student is unique, and I will tailor lessons to meet the needs and goals of each student. I find activities and repertoire that will help each student enjoy music and help them progress in their musical goals at a pace that works for them individually. My mission is to help students learn to love music and love learning.
